Bert Stoit, who is responsible for job preparation at FrieslandCampina’s Beilen plant explains their decision for Endur i9: “The Endur plastic pallets are perfect for this job; it wouldnʼt work at all with wooden pallets. They are robust, which is perfect for use in high-bay racks – and they come in different colors.” FrieslandCampina uses blue and red: Red pallets are used for the base powder and blue for the final products. A total of 30,000 units are constantly in circulation – 6,000 are sent to cleaning each month.

This is where S&K Swieringa comes in. To guarantee hygiene for FrieslandCampina’s sensitive dairy products, up to 60% of our Endur pallets are cleaned hourly in the company's ultra-modern washing system. The pallets to be cleaned are sorted and prewashed in the dirty area. In the process, they are hermetically separated from the clean area behind the actual washing system. This area is fully air-conditioned, the air is filtered, and employees wear protective clothing. Only after the cleaned pallets are completely dried and packed in plastic film are they then loaded onto a truck and returned to the customer. In this way, FrieslandCampina has reliably clean pallets that fulfill the highest requirements.
